Regarding notable games for the PS2: What about God of War 1 & 2?

NES should be number 1, and Sega Genesis was better than SNES

What about MGS for PS2? PS2 had the best games, and with 120+ Million sales... why isn't it number one? With SNES Number two, and NES number 3.

Some of those choices I wholeheartedly agree with, but others I strongly disapprove of... I rate both Dreamcast and N64 over both PS1 and PS2. Also, I didn't like any of the notable games listed for either Playstations. Playstation and Xbox, in my humble opinion, should be knocked down a notch. The Genesis should be brought up a notch. First place, in my opinion, belongs to either SNES or Genesis. That's a decision I have thought about plenty and is still too difficult to make. In the early years of Super Nintendo, the Genesis was picked on by Nintendo fans for its lack of RPG games. It can't be denied that in comparison to the SNES, the Genesis was and is severely lacking in decent role-playing games. Even though it did give birth to a few classics of the genre. It seems to me, if you value multiplayer experience over singleplayer, go with Genesis. If you value a good singleplayer experience, you can rarely go wrong with SNES.

The Snes is surely #1. i'm 30 years old and have played all of these systems. Their all good in their own respect but some just stand above the others. The games that the snes and regular nintendo had were unreal. Big fan of The PS1 and PS2, N64, 360, well i like them all for one reason or another. The genesis was a good system. Some of my friends had them. But as one person said they lacked a final fantasy or mario kart type game.

Seriously the dreamcast was a hunk of crap. It just had nothing to set itself apart from the crowd. it came out too early. suffered from what the PS3 does today, people were content with their older machine. and listing Sega arcade games for the Saturn is average. the megadrive is definately higher that the Wii though.

What the f**k!? The PSone has the games that make you get goosebumps. Metal Gear Solid for one is an amazing game, the cutscenes and voiceovers and sneaking was off the charts for its time. Final Fantasy VII is the greatest game ever, Cloud vs. Sephiroth, Aeris death is the only moment in gaming where grown men cry. And Resident Evil, Gran Turismo, FFVIII, FF IX, FF Tactics, and so many games the Playstation has released more games than any console to date. top that bitch.

Dreamcast is the greatest console ever, it should be on a better place, just people did not understand that it was to ahead for it's time!
