Punta del Este is growing in popularity and ritz, and is known as the "St. Tropez" of South America, the spot where the richest and most beautiful people in all of South American come to vacation. It's located in Uruguay (that's on the Atlantic for you geography failures). Amazingly, the beach is still accessible to the poor beach bums like yourself who only can dream of such a lifestyle.
