This Czech model was on the cover of the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. She was also in Thailand with her photographer/fiance when the 2004 tsunami hit. She managed to survive by holding on to the top of a palm tree. She was lucky to be alive with a broken pelvis and serious internal injuries, unfortunately her fiance did not make it. She received the "Survivor Award" from Glamour magazine and did her come back appearance in the 2006 SI Swimsuit edition. She has moved on and is now dating James Blunt.
