At the end of every President's time in office, they are allowed to create a Library memorializing their time in office, all at tax payer's expense. The Library is supposed to contain documents they created while president, and especially, first and foremost, books that help people understand the President, and the nation while he was serving his nation.
That being said, let's take a second and think about what books are likely to appear in President Bush's Presidential Library when his term is over...
I'm guessing the version that Bush has is missing a few chapters - pretty much the entire section on the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments, and bits and pieces of the 8th.
Not surprisingly, this book is in pristine condition, almost as if it was never even opened.
Chapter 1: Have the same name as a former President
Chapter 2: Promise your friends rich government contracts in Iraq.
Chapter 3: Lie to voters
Chapter 4: Profit
Bush smashed the record for most vacation days taken during his term in office. He beat Reagan's former record by quadrupling the number of vacation days. Keep in mind, Reagan didn't even have a war to deal with.
Reading this book is considered one of Bush's greatest accomplishments as President.
This book touts itself as a child's first book about science. Given Bush's scientific beliefs and his strict adherence to creationism, we're guessing he may not have gotten completely through this book.
Bush figures that if he can find Waldo amongst a whole group of cartoon people, he can easily find Osama bin Laden in a cave. Right? Right?
