The first shoes released after MJ's first retirement, this model is forever remembered as the model he wears on his statue in front the United Center in Chicago. It is ironic that he never actually wore these shoes in a game, the first model to have that distinction. There is also a near identical baseball version of the shoe, as MJ was playing with the minor league White Sox at this time.
