4 - Air Jordan XI

By far the most sought after version of the shoe, these were designed by Tinker Hatfield a year before it was finally approved, as he designed them with the hopes that Jordan would someday return to basketball.
Their most unique visual feature is the shiny black patent leather fronts. This look is instantly recognizable as an Air Jordan.
MJ himself has said that his goal was to create a shoe that could be worn "as a formal shoe", which it was by Boyz II Men during a performance at the Grammys that year.
