In what can only be described as the most disgraceful performance in the history of the dunk contest, Nate Robinson took full advantage of the "no time limit, it's not a dunk if it doesn't hit the rim" rule and attempted his final dunk 27 times before finally connecting. 27 times might be an exaggeration, but it might not, since no sane and rational person would ever sit through that entire embarrassing situation. Robinson brought shame to the entire dunk contest, turning it into a laughing stock of sports media. Finally, after all his repeated attempts, the dunk kind of sucked, and he still got a score good enough to beat the real winner, Igoudala. All around, this dunk was a complete embarrassment to the entire league, and should be stricken from the records, and may God have mercy on his soul.
